Tom Sebastian named President/Chief Executive Office for Compass Health

After 20 years of leadership, Jess C. Jamieson, PhD, is stepping down as President/CEO of Compass Health at the end of June. On Thursday, May 3, 2007, the Board of Directors announced that they had selected Tom Sebastian, M.S., M.P.A., to be the next President/Chief Executive Officer of Compass Health.

Janice George, Chair of the Board of Directors, reported that Compass Health conducted a national search and narrowed the field to three exceptional candidates. Ms. George stated that “after an extensive interview process, it was a unanimous decision by all involved that Tom is the best person for the job.”

Dr. Jamieson noted that “Tom brings extensive leadership, knowledge and experience to the job.”

Tom has been a long time Compass Health employee and Snohomish County resident. Tom will assume his new duties effective June 11, 2007. Over the next several weeks, he will be working closely with Jess to assure a smooth transition.
