Training Opportunities at Compass Health

Compass Health provides quality continuing education opportunities at a reasonable price to behavioral health professionals, social service professionals, educators and community members.

The Compass Health Training Department offers in-depth courses for continuing education credits to mental health professionals and clock hours for educators. These courses often cover state training requirements or evidence based practices. Trainings are also offered in introductory courses covering mental health topics, life skills, parenting and first aid/CPR. Training certificates are given at course completion.

“We work hard to include quality classes for people from all walks of life,” said Diana Beal, Compass Health Training Coordinator. “Expert Compass Health staff teach specialized courses and we also bring in national experts. We have excellent feedback about the level of instruction and how engaging our presenters are. When you attend a Compass training you are our guest. We’ll even put a pot of coffee on for you.”

The Compass Health Sanders Training Center in Everett is on a park like campus, has ample free parking and is a short drive to area restaurants, gas and grocery. It provides two training rooms, the Parkland room, which can accommodate up to 20 participants comfortably and the Central Conference room which can be set up classroom style for up to 70. Each room is equipped with a projector, screen and dry erase board. In the fall, courses are offered in Bellingham as well.
