Older Adult Services

Compass Health provides  supportive outpatient services to older adults ages 60 and over.  Services may include psychiatric assessments, individual counseling, therapeutic groups, comprehensive community support and medication evaluation and medication management services. Treatments are individually tailored to meet the need of each client and their family or caregivers as appropriate.  

Outreach services are offered to Adult Family Homes and Skilled Nursing Facilities for psychiatric assessments and mental health counseling. The staff providing the services may include Mental Health Clinicians, Mental Health Professionals, and Geriatric Mental Health Specialists and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners .  

There are many reasons that older adults seek mental health treatment including issues related to depression, anxiety, and mood disorders which impede the quality of their life at home or in the Adult family home or Nursing Home facility. Services help the client and their care givers support the client improve their coping skills and reduce the mental health symptoms that impede the quality of their life at home or in a facility.
