Expanded Community Service
Expanded Community Service with Adults (ECS) and Older Adults (ECSOA) provides counseling and community support services to eligible clients relocating from State psychiatric hospitals, or who are at risk of going to a hospital. The goal of the treatment team is to allow clients to remain in the community and increase the quality of their life. The ECSOA team includes mental health professional clinician, psychiatric nurse practitioner and geriatric mental health specialist who provide ongoing services in nursing homes and adult family homes that maintains the individual in their residential setting.
