Meeting Complex Needs
Intensive services are available for people with serious emotional and behavioral difficulties. We focus on individual needs to improve stability, increase independence, and decrease hospitalizations. For those involved with multiple agencies, we coordinate planning between families, social service agencies, schools, and private service providers. All services are provided in a culturally sensitive and relevant way, with translators provided as needed.
Specific services may include one or more of the following:
- Individual, family, and group counseling
- Case management provides one-on-one training and support in coping and living skills, assistance with housing, advocacy and financial issues, and medication monitoring
- Groups and classes to teach symptom management, and effective coping and living skills
