Housing Services

Housing services are available to adults, 18 and over, who are receiving services from Compass Health. Approximately 141 units are owned and maintained by Compass Health, while the rest are rented from private landlords through rent subsidies provided by the Housing Authorities of Skagit and Snohomish Counties, or through agreements with Housing Hope and the State of Washington. We also contract with private boarding homes and adult family home facilities for clients who need a higher level of support.

Housing units may be apartments, four-plex or six-plex units, or may be shared housing (each person has his or her own bedroom with shared common spaces). While available housing is primarily for single adults, Compass Health does own a small number of units large enough for families. Many clients access housing services just prior to their release from residential programs like Greenhouse or Aurora House.
