Under the guidance of qualified and credentialed supervisors, our Interns participate in meaningful and practical internships designed to further learning goals and professional development.

Internships

Clinical Intern (41401 – Expanded Community Services)

Location: Marysville Office; Marysville, WA

Our Marysville Expanded Community Services (ECS) program is currently looking for Clinical Interns to start in the fall or winter quarters of 2018. Our interns will review behavioral modification strategies with facility staff and provide skill training to ensure that the clients maintain housing.  Our new interns will also complete an individualized Behavioral Support Plan (IBSP) and Crisis Plan and collaborate care with DSHS SW to ensure stability in the community placement. Weekly supervision is provided – come be a part of our dynamic and growth oriented team!

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Current student looking to fulfill their requirements for their Master’s Degree in a related field.
  • Ability to commit to an internship for a minimum of 9 months (preferably 12 months).

This is a great opportunity for a current student in a behavioral science related field who is interested in getting some hands-on experience in the mental health industry!!

Clinical Intern (51100 – Child & Family Outpatient)

Location: Federal Campus; Everett, WA

Compass Health is the region’s largest private, non-profit organization providing mental health and chemical dependency services in Island, San Juan, Skagit, Snohomish, and Whatcom counties of Western Washington. We provide quality creative services to children, families and adults in a variety of outpatient, residential and inpatient settings. Our goal is to help people stay in their home and in their community, surrounded by family and friends who can support them during difficult times.

 

We are currently looking for 2-3 Clinical Interns for our Child & Family Clinic in Everett.  Our Interns will provide therapy and case management to a diverse clientele base of children and families, with some adult cases as well.

 REQUIREMENTS:

  • Current student looking to fulfill their requirements for their Master’s Degree in a related field.
  • Ability to work 20 hours – 25 hours per week (schedule is flexible).
  • Ability to start Internship between now and January 2019.
  • Commitment of at least 9 – 12 months preferred.
