Compass Health is currently looking for Volunteers for our Camp Mariposa program in Snohomish County.

Camp Mariposa is a national addiction prevention and mentoring program for youth who have been impacted by substance abuse in their families. 6 times a year Compass Health puts on a free transformational weekend camp for children ages 9-12, and we need Volunteers to help!

Our Camp Mariposa Volunteers get to spend the weekend camping – we provide the cabin, sleeping bag, food, and tons of fun activities that you can participate in with the campers (like laser tag)!



  • Is able to commit to at least 4 of the 6 weekend camps that occur per year.
  • Can make time in their schedule to volunteer for the full weekend – including staying overnight.
  • Knows something about recreation, outdoor activities, working with kids, and/or mental health services.
  • Is able to pass a pre-employment background check.
