Tom Kozaczynski

Tom Kozaczynski

Chief Advancement Officer

Tom Kozaczynski has been with Compass Health since March of 2013.

Tom’s previous positions include managing major corporate giving for the Seattle International Film Festival, foundation and annual giving at North Helpline Food Bank, the University of Washington, and the YMCA of Greater Seattle where he worked on program management and budgeting.

Tom has been actively involved in the Association of Fundraising Professionals Washington Chapter, Advancement Northwest, serving on multiple committees to support the philanthropy sector in our region. He is a member of the Rotary Club of Everett where he represents Compass Health and serves on various committees, including as a board member on the Everett Rotary Youth Foundation.

Tom holds his Bachelor Degree in Economics and Law, Societies, and Justice from the University of Washington, and holds his Master of Public Administration from the Evans School of Public Policy and Governance at the University of Washington with an emphasis on non-profit management and fundraising.

At Compass Health, Tom is in charge of major foundation, corporate, and individual giving, and oversees the growth and strategic development of Compass Health’s Development Department. Tom’s favorite part about working at Compass Health is connecting the passions of donors and funders in our community to the amazing and life-changing work being done by our staff each day. He believes we have the most highly trained, professional, caring, and mission driven people of any place that he has worked.

Ashley Pittman

Executive Assistant to CDCO

Ashley has been with Compass Health since September 2017. Ashley holds a Bachelor Degree in Biology from the University of Washington as well as a certificate in Nonprofit Management from the University of Washington. Before transitioning into the behavioral health side of nonprofit work, Ashley previously worked for several animal welfare nonprofits, and began interning and assisting in the Development department at her previous organization.

Ashley supports the CDCO and the entire Development department at Compass Health while working closely with the CEO’s office on joint projects. She also works with accounting on gift processing and database management.

In her spare time Ashley enjoys hiking with her husband and volunteering at local animal rescues.

Jeff Patterson

Director of Campaigns & Major Gifts

Jeff joined Compass Health November of 2020, coming to us most recently via Bridgeways, an Everett-based social enterprise, also serving people living with mental illness. Jeff has almost twenty years’ experience raising funds and building donor engagement for non-profit organizations in the Puget Sound area. Jeff’s previous roles also included the Everett Gospel Mission, KCTS 9, and Lighthouse for the Blind. He has a particular passion for missions focused on independence and self-sufficiency for people overcoming barriers related to disability or marginalization. Jeff is very involved in his community outside of work, where he is President-elect of the Rotary Club of Lynnwood and is the Vice-President of the board of directors for Steel Magic Northwest. Jeff’s wife and three sons have called Lynnwood home for fifteen years, and he’s a Pacific Northwest native.

Andrew Olson

Marketing & Communications Manager

Andrew has been with Compass Health since August 2016, and was previously our intern for 6 months in 2015. Andrew holds a Bachelor Degree in Organizational Communication from George Fox University in Newberg, Oregon.

At Compass Health, Andrew oversees all marketing campaigns and projects. He manages the website and social media pages, manages all print and electronic marketing and media materials, plans community outreach events in coordination with the different clinical programs, and assists the CEO’s office and HR team on joint projects.

His favorite part about working for Compass Health is getting to work with the passionate people from all the different programs.

Born and raised in Everett, Andrew spends his free time volunteering with the youth at his church, exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest, and rereading Harry Potter.

Events & Grants Associate

Jeremy has been with Compass Health since April of 2019. Jeremy holds his Bachelor Degree in Psychology from Washington University in St. Louis and holds his Master of Business Administration Degree in Nonprofit Management from the American Jewish University in Los Angeles. Jeremy has over 15 years of nonprofit fundraising experience and his resume includes being the Director of Development at Imagine Children’s Museum, Board Engagement Officer and Donor Relations Officer at Boys & Girls Clubs of King County, and Director of Development at The Healing Center in Seattle.

As Compass Health’s Events & Grants Associate, Jeremy manages all aspects of Compass Health’s annual Building Communities of Hope Gala as well as the community outreach events. Jeremy also oversees a portfolio of corporate and private foundations that support Compass Health.

Jeremy spends his free time playing golf, tennis, and chasing after his seven year-old son with his wife.
