Compass Health Celebrates PRIDE Across Northwest Washington
At Compass Health, we believe everyone belongs and we that are stronger when we make space to include everyone regardless of their gender, race, pigment, and sexual orientation. All people and perspectives are not only welcome, but celebrated.
As part of this, we look for ways to get out in community to connect with and support with our presence, sponsorship, and to share information about our services for those who might need them – and to let them know they are welcome.
Whether you are a supporter, a client, or simply a neighbor if you’ll be out celebrating PRIDE we’d love to have you stop by and say hello. Please scroll below to see where Compass Health will be celebrating out in your community in the month of June and Beyond.
June 1 – Whatcom Youth Pride
What started as a small celebration at a local high school in Whatcom County, Youth Pride has grown to the lively celebration it is today, taking up an entire parking lot at Bellingham High School. Youth Pride is from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm, with the event kicking off with a parade featuring LGBTQIA+ youth and youth allies. Following the parade, the rest of the day features a festival for the community to network and learn about youth resources in the area. While the event starts at 11:00 am, arrive by 10:00 am to get a prime spot to watch the parade! Compass Health is excited to be supporting the event with our presence hosting a booth and as an ally to the LGBTQIA+ youth in our Whatcom community. We hope you join us and stop by to say hello.

June 15 – San Juan Island Pride Festival
The San Juan Island Pride Festival takes place on June 15 at Brickworks from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm, and this event exists to foster community across the spectrum of LGBTQIA+ individuals and allies. This celebration of the San Juan LGBTQIA+ community will also have a focus on equal access, opportunities, and resources this community and create pathways of friendship, understanding and mutual support for all who have been economically, racially, socially, geographically, or politically disenfranchised. Compass Health is proud to be sponsoring and hosting a booth in part of creating space in celebration of this community.

June 15 – Everett Pride
Everett Pride 2024, takes place in Downtown Everett from 11:00 am – 6:00 pm on June 15. This event is a vibrant celebration that welcomes and creates a safe space for the LGBTQIA+ community and allies in Everett, cultivating a more inclusive community. Compass Health will be there as a sponsor and hosting a booth to support the community and take part in an atmosphere filled with joy, love, and unity and to express oneself freely and connect with like-minded individuals. June 22 – South Whidbey Pride
The South Whidbey Pride Parade and Celebration takes place on June 22 at the South Whidbey Community Center, kicking off at 12:00 pm. The event allows a safe and fun space to unite, educate, and engage people to support, empower, and celebrate the South Whidbey LGBTQIA+ community and its allies. There will be many groups and organizations represented, as well as live music and some of the best Food Truck faire on the Island! Come enjoy a summer day with us as we gather in this inspiring community – Compass Health is proud to be sponsoring and hosting a booth to participated.

July 7 – Bellingham Pride
Bellingham Pride is a weekend of festivities, attracting thousands to support, network, and celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community. Compass Health is joining in on the fun on Sunday, July 7. Starting at 11:00 am with a parade downtown ending at the festival site in Depot Market Square, Bellingham Pride is a wonderful opportunity to join in on the celebration. The fun continues with the festival taking place from 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm. Compass Health is participating with a booth at the festival, and we hope you join us, taking part in community and making space for people to be their authentic selves.
