Children’s Intensive Outpatient Treatment (WISe)

WISe works to honor the family voice and choice, identify strengths, build natural supports and foster self-sufficiency.

What is WISe?

Wraparound with Intensive Services (WISe) is a home and community-based treatment program supporting youth with complex behavioral health needs and their families. A team of dedicated professionals partner with families to support them in the least restrictive environment.

Who does WISe serve?

WISe Services are available for youth ages 3-20 and their family in Snohomish, Skagit, Island, and San Juan Counties and for youth ages 13-20 and their family in Whatcom County. Youth clients must have Medicaid (or be Medicaid eligible) to qualify for this program.

Approach of Program

The Wraparound approach honors the family’s voice and choice, identifies strengths, builds natural supports, and fosters self-sufficiency. Multi-disciplinary teams collaborate with families, system partners, and natural supports to create sustainable change. Teams provide care coordination, therapy, peer services, psychiatric services, and 24/7 crisis response. We believe clients are the experts in their experiences and we are their partner in their recovery journey.

Goals of WISe

The goal of WISe is for youth to live and thrive in their homes and communities and prevent out-of-home placements. A cohesive team provides assessment, treatment, and support services in the youth and family’s natural setting, where needs and challenges present themselves (such as the home, school, and community). The team works with the youth and family to create a sustainable support network and connection to resources.
