This Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy explains how Compass Health collects, uses, shares, and protects “consumer health data” as defined by the Washington My Health My Data Act (RCW 19.373).

It applies to consumer health data collected through our Website and related consumer-facing services, and not to information governed by HIPAA or otherwise exempt under the Act.

Information entered into FRANSiS, the AI-powered website assistant, may constitute consumer health data if it identifies or can be used to infer a consumer’s past, present, or future physical or mental health status.

  • Directly from you: When you type information into a form or the AI-powered website assistant, or otherwise contact us.

  • Automatically: Through cookies and similar technologies used on the Website.

  • Service providers: From service providers that help operate the Website on our behalf.

We do not sell consumer health data.

If that changes, we will obtain the authorization required by applicable law before a sale.

5. How to Exercise Your Rights

Under the My Health My Data Act, Washington consumers may have the right to:

  • Access: Confirm whether we collect, share, or sell your consumer health data and access that data, including information about third parties and affiliates with whom it has been shared.
