Donor Spotlight Series
In honor of the Marc Healing Center soon opening its doors to begin serving the public, we’re highlighting the generous individuals, families and companies who helped make this dream a reality.
Read on to hear from some of the campaign’s most dedicated supporters about why they believe in this mission, and how they know this facility will help so many of our neighbors in need.
We’re thrilled to highlight Wellpoint Washington, another dedicated and enthusiastic supporter of It’s Time: The Campaign for Compass Health.
Wellpoint Washington is an NCQA accredited health plan provider dedicated to improving lives and promoting healthier communities through their Washington Apple Health Plan. They believe achieving good health begins with the best health care professionals, which is why they support more than just medical needs.
Their focus includes physical and behavioral health, emotional well-being and addressing social determinants of health. Everything they do is viewed through the lens of “Nothing about us, without us.” This means building lasting and trusting relationships in their communities.
“Wellpoint Washington is proud to partner with Compass Health,” said Lisa Bogard, Plan President. “We are excited about the huge impact the Marc Healing Center will make in the lives of our friends and neighbors for years to come.”
This week, we’re proud to spotlight Coastal – a valued organization to Western Washington and It’s Time: The Campaign for Compass Health.
Coastal redefines banking through bold growth and relationship-focused service. As an FDIC member and Equal housing lender, Coastal stands as a trusted leader in business banking, personal banking, and as an embedded finance partner. Since their founding, they have been committed to giving back to the communities they serve, and believe that being a good neighbor and supporting community partners is critical to their success.
“Coastal is honored to support the Marc Healing Center. Now, more than ever, mental health services are needed to support those most vulnerable in our community,” said Curt Queyrouze, Coastal President. “This new Center will provide the continuum of care our neighbors need as part of their recovery journey.”
We’re kicking off this series by highlighting the Cymbaluk family, Shawn Hoban and Roxi Cronin – three essential participants in It’s Time: The Campaign for Compass Health.
The Cymbaluk family – including Jeff, his wife Jodie and their daughters – have a long history of philanthropy and making significant investments in the community. Jeff, who was raised in Snohomish County, finds different ways to continue supporting its residents, from donating to campaigns like this, to serving on the Board of Trustees of Archbishop Murphy High School in Everett.
“The needs of our neighbors are greater than ever before,” said Jeff. “My family is committed to investing in our community and knows that behavioral health solutions are a top priority. That’s why we’re honored to support Compass Health’s Broadway Redevelopment Project and the Marc Healing Center, which is a sophisticated solution to complex behavioral health issues and a regional destination for a true continuum of care.”
Shawn Hoban is CEO of the Coast Group of Companies, which has been setting the standard for property management services in the Pacific Northwest. Shawn has remained a leading supporter of the campaign. With his family, he has made giving back to the community a top priority.
“Community mental health affects all of us – across the region, our neighbors are facing housing crises, behavioral health challenges, substance use and more. Compass Health’s Broadway Redevelopment Project is a solution for these issues sitting at the front porch of our community,” said Shawn. “The Marc Healing Center will help to open pathways to recovery for the most vulnerable members of our community, and shows that how Compass Health is committed to finding solutions to the issues that affect us all.”
Roxi Cronin has been a longtime champion for Compass Health, as both a member of the organization’s board of directors and through her family’s philanthropy. She has centered her career and personal life on advocating for those often left underserved.
“Compass Health is paving the path to recovery for our neighbors, and I am honored to have been a part of this project that will help so many of our most vulnerable community members,” Roxi said. “Together, through the Marc Healing Center, we are expanding access to effective treatments and helping shift the narrative around mental health to become more supportive and understanding.”
