FRANSiS Gift Helps Expand Access to Cardiac Monitoring Services

A generous gift from FRANSiS is helping Compass Health expand access to cardiac monitoring services for clients across Northwest Washington.

The funding will support the purchase of 13 EKG units, along with the software and support needed to bring this service directly into Compass Health programs.

For many clients, EKG testing is an important part of ensuring medications can be prescribed and managed safely. In the past, obtaining an EKG often required referrals to outside providers, which could create delays in care or additional barriers for clients.

By bringing EKG services in-house, Compass Health care teams will be able to provide faster access to testing and make more timely treatment decisions. The additional capacity will help improve client safety, support better health outcomes, and strengthen whole-person care across the organization.

This investment also helps reduce barriers to care by making essential services more accessible within the programs clients already know and trust, helping them receive the support they need without unnecessary delays.
