New Name, Same Mission: Meet YGo, Our Mobile Youth Crisis Team

For more than a year, the Compass Health Child, Youth, and Family Crisis Team has been responding to youth in crisis across Snohomish, Whatcom, and Skagit counties and connecting them to ongoing services.
By making behavioral health crisis care available to any child or teen who needs it in this three-county area, the program has received overwhelmingly positive feedback. And we’re making an impact – so far, we’ve responded to more than 4,500 individuals, and built partnerships with schools and other organizations who reach out when a child or teen they work with needs our help.
We’re focused on serving as many youth and families as possible – so it’s important that even more folks know about this program. To help raise visibility, we’ve adopted a new name – and a new look.
Introducing YGo.
YGo stands for youth go, because we go when and where youth need us.
And for anyone asking, “Why go?” Because every child who is struggling deserves access to help. No crisis is too small – that’s why we ask, “Why not go? Why not contact?” the YGo team.
While the program’s brand has changed, the mission remains the same: to meet youth where they are – whether that’s at school, at home, in local shelters or in juvenile court – and provide timely, compassionate behavioral and mental health support when they need it most.
What stays the same:
- YGo continues to serve any child, teen, or young adult under age 20 in Snohomish, Skagit, and Whatcom counties
- Services remain available at no cost to clients or their families
- The team remains available 24/7 to respond wherever support is needed
How to access YGo:
Youth or family members are encouraged to call or text 988, the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, or contact VOA Crisis Responsive Services (the Care Crisis Line) at 1-800-584-3578. A trained professional will then dispatch the YGo team.
This updated identity reinforces Compass Health’s long-term commitment to helping youth feel seen, supported, and safe. It’s ultimately about empowering youth to reach out for help when they need it, knowing someone will respond.
