Moving Forward to Create Permanent Supportive Housing

In mid-February we held the ceremonial groundbreaking of Compass Health’s new permanent supportive housing facility on our Broadway Campus in Everett. We are excited to report that construction is now underway and, despite the challenges presented by COVID-19, we are expected to complete the facility on time. 

In March, the small residential house on the building site was demolished and excavation began in early April. BNBuilders, our general contractor, is now well into the process of laying the structural foundation and framing will begin soon.  

We know we will feel the impact of COVID-19 for years to come – and the need for permanent supportive housing is more important than ever. Robust systems like our permanent supportive housing will help us to meet the vital needs of our community and strengthen our response for future public health crises.
