The Great Compass Health Camp Out

A New Tradition Begins: The Great Compass Health Camp Out

The Great Compass Health Camp Out made its debut as Compass Health’s reimagined signature fundraising event April 17th at Thomas Family Farm in Snohomish, Washington. We are proud to share that, through the incredible generosity of our supporters, we raised approximately $175,000! These funds will directly support our child, youth, and family programs, strengthening these critical services across our five-county region.

After a year-long hiatus from the Building Communities of Hope Gala, Compass Health took the opportunity to thoughtfully redesign its signature event, with a focus on accessibility in both ticket pricing and the overall guest experience. This newly envisioned event was designed to reflect the very programs it supports, with a focus on our work with children and youth.

A highlight of the evening was our Fireside Chat, hosted by President and CEO Tom Sebastian, featuring clients, parents, and Compass Health staff. Together, they shared powerful, firsthand stories that reflected the impact of our services and the critical importance of accessible behavioral health care. Their voices highlighted the real differences your support makes in our communities.

Guests also enjoyed exciting raffle opportunities, meaningful raise-the-paddle moments, and a lively final bidding frenzy – all in support of Compass Health’s mission.

Thank you to the attendees, staff, volunteers, sponsors, and ongoing supporters who made this evening such a success. Your support helps us continue providing life-changing care to youth and their families throughout our communities.

If you were unable to attend but would still like to make an impact, we invite you to contribute. Your support helps provide hope and critical care to children and youth through Northwest Washington. Click here to donate.

Learn more about the programs The Great Compass Health Camp Out supports:

Child & Family Outpatient Programs: This program helps children and youth (ages 0–22) manage anxiety, depression, trauma, and family conflict. Through personalized therapy and skill-building, youth strengthen emotional regulation, communication, and confidence—while families gain tools to create more stable, connected home environments.

Child Advocacy Programs: Compass Health’s Child Advocacy Program (CAP) offers support to children and adolescents from birth up to 22 years old, who have experienced or are suspected to have experienced sexual abuse or have witnessed a homicide.

WIse: The WISe program supports youth (ages 0–21) with serious emotional and behavioral challenges through a team-based, wraparound approach. Services are delivered in homes, schools, and communities to help youth stay safe, succeed in school, and avoid out-of-home placements. WISe empowers families to build resilience and long-term stability.

Camp Outside the Box: Created for youth in the WISe program, Camp Outside the Box offers a therapeutic, inclusive summer experience. Many campers have struggled in traditional settings due to behavioral health issues. Through hands-on activities, daily outings, and one-on-one clinical support, campers build confidence, friendships, and emotional strength in a safe, supportive space.

Camp Mariposa: Camp Mariposa Everett is a year-round addiction prevention and mentoring program for youth affected by substance use disorder of a family member. Camps offer fun, traditional camp activities combined with education and support sessions led by mental health professionals and trained adult mentors. Youth and their families are supported throughout the year with additional social support activities.

YGo: YGo helps children and teens experiencing crises by meeting them in community settings, including schools, homes, shelters or juvenile court. We provide emergency behavioral healthcare to stabilize their situation and connect them to ongoing services.
