Building Communities of Hope Gala 2024: A Night to Remember

Building Communities of Hope Gala returned for its seventh annual year this past Saturday night at Tulalip Resort Casino. We are proud to share that, through the incredible generosity of our supporters, we raised a groundbreaking $293,689! These funds will directly impact all our child, youth, and family programs, providing funds to our crucial services across all five counties.

The evening was highlighted by critically acclaimed comedian, writer, and actor Aparna Nancherla as our keynote speaker. Aparna performed a short standup routine followed by an in-depth Q&A with Compass Health president and CEO Tom Sebastian and Francis CEO Keenan Hart. Their conversation was not only insightful but also a powerful reminder of the importance of addressing behavioral health and providing support to clients and community members.

This year’s client story featured one of our Camp Mariposa ® Everett campers, Aiden, and his parents, Jim and Rachel. Their story highlights Aiden’s journey of attending Camp Mariposa and how it is helping him learn to process his thoughts and feelings on complex topics. Through the process of camp, Aiden has become a leader there and is embracing that role in other facets of his life as well – he was recently elected as ASB Vice President at his school. Their story is just one example of how your contributions make a lasting impact in the lives our clients by funding our programs. Click here to see the video.

We extend our gratitude to all the attendees, donors, and ongoing supporters who played a pivotal role in making this night a resounding success. Your unwavering support is a driving force behind our mission and helps us continue to provide comprehensive, life-changing care to our clients and communities.

Children’s Intensive Services/Wraparound with Intensive Services (WISe) supports children and their families in the least restrictive environment by honoring the family’s voice, choice, strengths, and natural supports.

Camp Outside the Box is a camp specifically designed for children and youth in the WISe program and gives them a chance to experience a traditional summer day-camp while practicing their social and therapeutic skills.
