Compass Health Partners with UW Students

For the first time, Compass Health is partnering with students from the Daniel J. Evans School of Public Affairs enrolled in the summer semester A term grant writing course to prepare three grants for our organization. These masters level students will work with the Compass Health Development Department to learn about our various programs in what is sure to be an exciting and rewarding four weeks! Students will visit Compass Health facilities and meet with program directors to gain an understanding of the work we do and all of the lives we touch in our four counties. The course is taught by Renee Bourque of Bright Star Grant Consultants, and students will have their grants reviewed by both Compass Health and by Renee. The prospective grants will be written to support Compass Health's partnership with the Cocoon House, Compass Health's Housing Program, and our general operating budget.

We are excited to be a part of this amazing opportunity with the University of Washington, and look forward to working with the students and Renee to support our mission. If you have any questions about this program, please feel free to contact Tom Kozaczynski, Development and Resource Manager, at or 425-349-8122.
