Population Health Trust of Skagit County Explores the Challenges Around Mental Health and COVID-19
Our wonderful Chief Operating Officer, Stacey Alles here at Compass Health participated in a video for Population Health Trust.
Some background on Population Health trust is in 2010, two groups emerged with a vested interest to improving health for Skagit County people. These groups were; One Community, One Voice and The Skagit County Alliance for Healthcare Access (SCAHA). These two groups and the participants laid the foundation for the development of the Population Health Trust Advisory Committee. Through out the years and by coordinating their efforts to create healthier and more equitable communities.
In this video, Stacy Alles highlights the need and shares tips on navigating the mental and emotional impacts of the pandemic.
“It is important right now to recognize that things are incredibly stressful and very different then what we might expect. We need to be compassionate with ourselves and utilize our selfcare skills. To ask for help from natural support or professional help if you need it.” Â
