Temporary Limitations for New Client Referrals & Assessments

Due to high volume, combined with workforce shortages, some of our sites are experiencing temporary limitations for new client referrals and assessments.

Compass Health is experiencing temporary limitations at various outpatient locations. We have paused our process for accepting new outpatient clients at these sites – a difficult but necessary decision to ensure we maintain appropriate capacity levels to serve existing clients.

Adult Services

  • We are currently unable to accept new adult referrals at any of our outpatient locations. Crisis services continue to be available.

Child & Youth Services

  • We are currently accepting new referrals for children and families at our Mount Vernon location only.

As we navigate the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on our country’s economy and health, providers across the state, including Compass Health, are experiencing systemic workforce shortages coupled with high demands for new referrals. We are working as hard as we can during this challenging recruiting climate to expand staffing levels, and we are committed to keeping our community and partners updated on when we will be able to resume new client assessments. We are also continuing to serve all existing clients and families without interruption and are accepting new clients across our other programs and locations.
