Compass Health Partners with Medical Team International to Host Free Dental Care

For many, untreated dental problems can lead to pain, difficulty eating and even serious health conditions. However, without access to affordable care, it can be hard to maintain oral hygiene or receive urgent treatment.  At Compass Health, we recognize the importance of accessible, convenient care and have partnered with Medical Teams International’s Medical Dental Program to host a Mobile Dental van at our Broadway Campus parking lot.

Sunday, September 15, 2019 was the first of what we hope to be many days where the Mobile Dental van can set up at our Bailey Building in Downtown Everett. The van is staffed by dental professionals, and provides services such as cleanings, extractions, and more.

The Mobile Dental van offers a key solution to an age-old problem: how do those in need access dental treatment? By hosting the van in our parking lot, the Mobile Dental Program is poised to help those with the greatest dental and economic need by providing free care and alleviating dental-related emergency room visits.

“Everyone at Compass Health was all smiles when we heard about this opportunity,” said CEO Tom Sebastian. “We recognize dental care is an integral part of whole person health and look forward to working together to provide care in our community.”

Medical Teams International is nonprofit that helps those in crisis by bringing them basic, but lifesaving medical care. Since 1989, the Mobile Dental Program has provided care to more than 293,000 children and adults who cannot afford or access dental services.

Keep an eye out for the big red van as we work with Medical Teams International to return to save lives and promote hope and recovery.
